War of the Worlds, Orson Welles, October 30th, 1938

One of my favourite Old Time Radio broadcasts, I’ve listened to War of the Worlds more times than I can count. I enjoy everything about this broadcast, from the actual program itself to the history surrounding it (including the alleged mass panic). And I find it so amazing that Orson Welles directed War of The Worlds so magnificently at such a young age. The man was a genius.

So I’m sharing it with you today, on the 79th anniversary of the original broadcast. Happy Mischief Night, everyone!
